Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for Associate Product Acceptance Specialists to support the Space and Launch Program in New Orleans, LA.
This position is for 2nd shift and may require some additional support on other shifts as needed according to business conditions
Position Responsibilities:
- Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.
- Provides objective evidence of results.
- Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.
- Identifies and documents discrepancies. Segregates and controls non-conforming items.
- Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.
- Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.
- Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in New Orleans, LA.
This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
- Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar (QMS) Quality Management System standard
- 3+ years of Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience interpreting manufacturing blueprints
- 1+ years of knowledge with technical experience in an aerospace environment
- 3+ years of experience working in teams/work groups
- Must have analytical, communication and problem solving skills

Summary pay range: $55,000 - $64,350
