Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Flightline Operations Manager (Level L) to support the 737 team onsite in Moses Lake, Washington on 2nd shift.
The manager in this role will lead teams across the Moses Lake site on 2nd Shift performing 737-7 and 737-10 change incorporation and modifications on commodities such as interiors, systems, electrical, structures, functional test, reactivation, and preflight and release. This position requires extensive aircraft knowledge, leading a multifunctional team, managing site performance, financial measures, and ensuring first time quality and employee safety. The Leader will need to have strong communication skills and develop partnerships across all levels and functions to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes a culture of speaking up, collaboration, accountability, and trust.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes and manage across multiple skills and disciplines
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and organizational strategies
Acquires and manages resources and lead and guide process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, leadership, and direct reports
Actively promotes the growth and development of employees and first-level managers
Fosters an environment of trust, respect, and inclusion
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Willing and able to work 2nd shift, including weekends and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with Systematic Problem Solving, Root Cause Corrective Action, and/or Boeing Problem Solving Model
Experience with preflight and release and change incorp and modifications
1+ years of experience leading and developing other leaders
3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional organizational environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $153,000 - $187,000
