Boeing Global Services, Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Team Lead Procurement Agent (Level 5) for our Miami, FL facility.
Position Summary:
Develops procurement and supply chain strategies to meet customer needs and company goals. Consults on proposal analysis and negotiation strategies, formalizes requirements, and leads supplier negotiations. Prepares and executes agreements, ensures compliance with procedures and regulations, manages contract terminations, and drives organizational improvement. Serves as the primary point of contact and supports as the team lead, ensuring cohesive collaboration and successful project execution
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Determines scope and sourcing strategy for contract bid opportunities. Performs analysis providing clarity to competitive advantages and disadvantages based on historical bid data.
Identifies product sources through the review of technical documentation and historical data. Negotiates cost/packages for projects ranging in value from 50K to 500M.
Proposes feedback to Strategic Pricing, Sales and Procurement teams regarding cost competitiveness of stock/quoted items.
Identifies cost reduction and resale increase opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies.
Negotiates for all aspects of assigned bid opportunities while managing upload of cost data. Communicates cost competitiveness to supply partners for contract bid activity.
Ensures compliance with project timelines and alignment of sourcing and commodity strategies for contract bid opportunities. Facilitates escalation issues through resolution for all assigned contract bids.
Executes purchase order placement to support customer contract implementations. Requirement review, analyzing, negotiate, determine investment as needed.
Serves as liaison between commodity and sourcing teams for key initiatives. Facilitates process enhancements, analysis and training opportunities within the team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
10 years of related work experience
Experience with interacting directly with suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
Advanced negotiation skills
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple and competing priorities
Demonstrated ability to work with large amounts of computer data
Strong presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field of study
APICS Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM)
Experience working in a distribution business environment
General knowledge of aerospace compliance and regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $97,000 - $138,000
