Boeing’s elite Phantom Works organization seeks a Lead Radome Project Engineer to lead disruptive technical research and development programs, both internal and external in Mesa, Arizona. This position will require skills in program management, EVM, superb communication skills and a proactive and positive attitude to accomplish nearly anything that comes our way. Composites and electromagnetics are our avenue to successful programs and this opportunity will allows the candidate to lead a highly talented team to heights never achieved before.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead Phantom Works team projects, from a cost, schedule and technology standpoint
Communicate with internal and external customers, both written and in person via presentations, TIMS, PDRs, CDRs and final reports.
Prepare documents such as Monthly status reports, TIM presentations, PDR & CDR reviews.
Collaborate with fellow technical teammates on technical approaches inline to contractual CDRLs and provide EVM status if needed. Monitor project budgets and lead programs to successful outcomes.
Collaborate with customers.
Engage in all aspects of program planning.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
3+ years using Excel to perform data analysis.
3+ years editing PDF and Word files.
5+ years’ experience in program management or project engineering.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Provides the Engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal and external resources and customers. Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy research and development, ongoing and new business requirements. Works with customers and management to obtain approval. Identifies and manages changes to statement of work and assesses the impact of those changes, and incorporates changes into statement of work.
Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Mesa, AZ.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically depending on business needs.
This position requires an active U.S. Top-Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay ranges: $154,700 - $209,300
