Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a Flight Operations Generalist to join our team in Mesa, AZ. This role will be responsible for assisting radio room flight following, aircrew scheduling, currency & qualification, and other flight ops related tasks for Boeings Vertical Lift programs (AH-64, CH-47 and others.

 

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Mid-Level and Senior Flight Operations Generalist.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Flight planning/scheduling, aircrew coordination, radio room flight following, document control, and regulatory compliance assurance activities IAW DCMAI 8210.1C/D
• Interfaces with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Chief Pilots, Air Dominance Aircrew, Integrated Test Programs, and BT&E Leadership on a continual basis
• Reports to the Boeing BT&E Flight Operation manager Berkeley, MO
• Travels to off-site locations—sometimes on short notice and potentially involving multi-day assignments—augmenting their skillset in support of external program requirements

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
• Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
• Experience in high pressure environments where you had to make decisions quickly
• Experience in a combination of aviation safety, systems safety analysis, safety management system, ground test, flight test, aviation operations or test hazard analysis in a commercial and/or military environment
• Possess comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to obtain a FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License (GROL)

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 4: 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Associate’s degree or higher, a technical certificate or degree, or 4 or more years of equivalent technical experience
• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business, or related field, or 6+ years of equivalent work experience
• Familiarity with 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 91 regulations
• Aviation Life Support Systems Technician Certificate through a U.S. military service, FAA certification, or an equivalent recognized program 
• Knowledge of U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, or U.S. Air Force flight regulations
• Proficiency and experience working with FOS (Flight Operations System) and Crystal Reports.
• Project management experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range:

Mid-Level P3: $85,000 - $115,000

Senior Level P4: $102,850 - $139,150
