The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Leave of Absence Administrator to join our team in Mesa, AZ.
The Leave of Absence Administrator is responsible for overseeing the administration of employee leaves of absence, which are outsourced to a third-party administrator. This role involves managing certain aspects of the relationship with the third-party administrator, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing guidance and support to employees and managers throughout the leave process. The Leave of Absence Administrator will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient leave management process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee the administration of employee leaves of absence, which are outsourced to a third-party administrator
- Works with the third-party administrator, ensuring effective communication, timely resolution of issues, and adherence to service level agreements
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable laws
- Collaborate with the third-party administrator to review and evaluate leave requests, including medical certifications and other supporting documentation, to determine eligibility and appropriateness of leave
- Coordinate and communicate leave approvals, denials, and extensions to employees and managers in a timely manner when escalated
- Ensure third-party administrator is providing proper guidance and support to employees and managers on leave-related policies, procedures, and benefits
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Benefits team, Payroll, Compensation Policy, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of leave management processes
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with leave policies and procedures
- Stay informed about changes in leave laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
- Participate in the development and implementation of leave-related policies, procedures, and training programs
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in leave administration or a related HR role
- Experience with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to leaves of absence, including FMLA and ADA
- Experience communicating with and the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Experience with HRIS and leave management systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $81,600 - $120,000
