Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking an Accounting Manager in Maryland Heights, MO to lead the Tapestry accounting team and holds a key role in the Tapestry finance leadership team. In this role you will inspire a non-local team of 8 individual contributors responsible for general ledger, monthly close, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, travel and finance systems & analytics.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages, develops and motivates employees performing the activities of gathering, analyzing, interpreting, preparing and reconciling accounting information according to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures
- Prepares internal and external financial reports
- Prepares and reconciles financial information according to company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures
- Ensures effective internal controls
- Identifies and resolves accounting system issues
- Reviews and interprets company directives and policies to guide overall accounting policies and practices
- Supports the development and deployment of new systems and tools and integration within the Accounting system
- Responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and banking activities for Tapestry
- Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
- Acquires resources for department activities, leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of accounting experience in teams such as general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, etc.
Management experience over accounting teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of management experience over accounting teams
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualification, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary base pay range $110,000 - $165,000
