Boeing Defense, Space & Security is looking for a Senior Production System Architect to join the team based out of El Segundo, CA.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, innovative producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.
Conceptualizes and oversees the implementation of the program architecture for build.
Consults upper management on long-range planning. Develops manufacturing plans or concepts for high level program requirements.
Integrates with the program to identify, quantify, and mitigate production level risks.
Experience in working with supply chain and external vendors to improve producibility.
Resolves complex technical problems. Organizes technical aspects of proposal development.
Develops and authors new engineering principles, theories and advanced technologies.
Develops advanced design solutions.
Conducts research resulting in new product or business opportunities.
Consults on lean principles and technologies for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Documents and communicates producibility best practices.
Identifies training needs.
Establishes procedures, standards, protocols and reporting requirements.
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of experience with Manufacturing and/or Integration in a production environment.
5+ years of experience performing producibility analysis and deriving production system requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Extensive experience with vehicle level assembly integration and test.
Knowledgeable on overall production systems such as MRP, MBOM methodologies, and Configuration Management.
Knowledgeable in common satellite product structures and build flows.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $142,800 – $193,200
