The Boeing Electronic Products organization is seeking a Senior Microelectronics Technologist to join the team in El Segundo, CA to lead the qualification and insertion of new integrated circuit libraries and standard products that will be used for our SoC/ASIC/FPGA developments and broader product line.
This role will lead the evaluation of microelectronics hardware at the leading edge of technology for a wide range of applications across the Boeing Enterprise.
With our focus on space and airborne platforms, radiation effects characterization and analysis are critical skills for the position, with hands-on experience in heavy-ion testing at multiple radiation effects facilities across the country being a critical requirement.
This position will also develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to support our technology roadmap across our portfolio of programs and mission needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct radiation effects testing, including test planning, on-site test setup, test readiness reviews, shipping, travel to test facilities, test execution, data analysis, and summary reports.
• Support radiation effects analysis at the integrated circuit level and at higher-level systems, while guiding radiation effects mitigation approaches to meet availability requirements.
• Lead new technology evaluation and development efforts, including IRAD and CRAD pursuits while working with internal and external customers to communicate the needs and value.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and supporting engineers.
Basic Qualifications (Required skills/experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
10+ years of microelectronics testing and radiation effects analysis (or Master’s Degree and 8 years of experience)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired skills/experience):
Experience leading or managing technology qualification efforts
Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance

Summary Pay Range: $155,550-210,450
