The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Senior Information Technology Project Management Specialist to join the team in El Segundo, CA; Huntsville, AL; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Plano, TX; Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Long Beach, CA; San Antonio, TX; Dallas, TX; or Herndon, VA.
Join the Boeing Information Technology (IT) Engineering and Product Support Group, where we deliver comprehensive software solutions that empower engineering and manufacturing product data for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), and Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) organizations!
In this exciting role, you will work to support cutting-edge products across our BDS programs, Satellite factory, and BCA programs, utilizing modern applications and processes to drive innovation and efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:
Organize, coordinate, and drive execution across multiple Information Technology (IT) and Software Development project teams
Develop and manage complex program and project scope, schedule, and budget baselines based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle aligned to application management, software development and IT projects or activities
Negotiate changes to project baselines and conduct design reviews
Manage the incorporation of quality management systems for IT projects and monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards
Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive roadmaps, trade studies and other technical initiatives
Identify and negotiate for necessary resources to meet project goals
Develop and execute project communication plans
Lead activities to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
Identify the need for vendor-provided products and services and coordinate supplier activities
Lead liaison activities between the business or function and IT to understand priorities and develop strategies to meet business objectives
Develop and execute communication plans, including status updates to leadership and stakeholders
Identify risks and impacts, coordinating with the business to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments
Provide input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools, and techniques, ensuring alignment with quality management solutions
Hold overall accountability for funding, affordability, and expenditures in support of applicable business units or functions
Support critical software license renewals
Work with Procurement Agents to provide vendor contract support
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Questionnaire
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
5+ years of experience in a software development leadership role
5+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
5+ years of experience working with technical projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies
5+ years of experience leading software development projects
5+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
Willing and able to travel domestically 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe) Certification
10+ years of experience providing Program or Project Management leadership for IT or Software Development projects
10+ years of experience organizing cross-functional teams
10+ years leading traditional waterfall project management projects
10+ years leading Agile projects
10+ years of experience leading IT or Software development projects
10+ years of experience building and presenting artifacts to senior or executive leadership
Experience leading digital transformational and global change initiatives in a corporate work environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $117,300 – $170,200
