Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Space Mission Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Project Management Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the Satellite Factory Integration team in El Segundo, CA.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate or Mid-Level Project Management Specialist
Position Responsibilities:
Developing and integrating project plans, pipeline and resource metrics for deliverable hardware by developing and maintaining documentation/data for various leadership presentations
Participating in establishing, monitoring, and integrating space and satellite hardware project elements and coordinating with stakeholders
Evaluating, refining, validating, and resolving schedule alignment issues and coordinate trend data to provide recommended changes to stakeholders to execute across various feeder factories while overseeing plan optimization
Assisting and/or leading in planning efforts across various programs and projects to determine constraints, risks, opportunities, and integration strategies
Analyzing and maintaining capacity analysis throughout Satellite Factory work-cells and future business opportunities for key stakeholders/leadership
Supporting Lean Enterprise activities throughout the Satellite Factory
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/ SCI Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher
3+ years’ managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
Experience using Microsoft Project
Experience in product support
1+ years’ experience leading teams or projects to successful completion
Experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering field
Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
1+ years’ experience working on space flight and/or military hardware
Experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules
Experience in a fast-paced Aerospace production environment with cross-functional teams
Experience in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server and/or Project Web Application
3+ years' working in ambiguous and fast changing environments
3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range Associate Level 2: USD $73,950 - $100,050
Summary pay range Mid-Level 3: USD $93,500 – $126,500
