The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Systems Administrator to join the team in Layton, UT.
Step into the role of Mid-Level Systems Administrator, where you will play a vital role in supporting multiple programs within the Boeing Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) organization. In this dynamic position, you will leverage your expertise in Linux systems to ensure the reliability and performance of our infrastructure across various projects.

Position Responsibilities:
Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture
Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systems
Provides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems
Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirements
Monitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Active CompTIA Security+ certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 Certification Requirements), and/or the ability to obtain post-hire (required)
3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering current Windows Server 2022 - 2025 and Desktop Operating Systems - Windows 11
3+ years of experience with designing & implementing Windows Systems
Experience troubleshooting operating system and installation problems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
3+ years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support
3+ years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems
3+ years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware
3+ years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating system problems and resolution
3+ years of experience integrating security solutions (e.g. Splunk) into information systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $92,650 – $125,350
