Boeing Ukraine is looking for Manufacturing Engineer.
The candidate will be a significant contributor to team of Manufacturing Engineers/Planners in Boeing Engineering Center in Kyiv.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary engineering support for the commodity/program, ensuring all technical fabrication aspects are addressed; investigates and resolves engineering issues that impact performance, cost, or schedule.
Conduct technical reviews and checks to improve First Time Quality; reviews and approves supplier data, drawings, and work instructions to ensure manufacturing requirements are met.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key technical enablers and process risks that affect fabrication, and defines mitigation or enablement projects.
Develop, implements, and maintains manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, routings, and illustrations to define and document plans for manufacturing parts.
Work with Design Engineering to provide producibility input during Technical Design Reviews and as cross‑functional unit to meet cost, schedule, and manufacturing constraints.
Apply Lean principles and data‑driven analysis to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and build business cases for process automation or tooling improvements.
Contribute to the definition of enhancement projects to bring value to the shop floor operations and make them more efficient and increase quality.
Apply new engineering principles, theories, technologies, and manufacturing concepts to improve fabrication capability and performance.
Mentor teammates within the area of responsibility, contributes to training program development and delivery, and supports skill development of less experienced staff.
Pursue best practices and actively contributes to knowledge generation and sharing.
Effectively communicate to stakeholders to remove impediments and ensure timely deliverables of high quality.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
5+ years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Stakeholder management.
High awareness of the Engineering life-cycle (Design, Check, Planning, Manufacturing).
Fluent English and Ukrainian.
Permit to work in Ukraine.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
4 + years’ experience in Production Industrial Engineering.
4 + years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment.
Experience implementing or defining new Manufacturing processes in a production setting.
Extensive experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes.
Experience with the following software PDM, CAPP, CATIA, IVT, CDS, ENOVIA, ERP.
