Boeing Global Services is seeking a Site Operations Support - Materials Management Manager to develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals in support of multiple statements of work. Position is located in Jacksonville, FL.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages and integrates employees’ activities across more than one area in materials management.
Manages employees analyzing supply chain material requirements, developing and optimizing inventory planning and synchronizing supply chain demands
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Works with urgency and makes decisions weighing business goals and employee’s needs.
Effectively communicates company and business unit goals, objectives and priorities.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
3 + years of experience in a leadership or management role with both people and business unit leadership responsibilities.
3 + years of experience with Production Control/Materials Management.
3 + years of experience in Inventory Management
1 + years of experience with warehouse operations
1+ years of experience implementing lean manufacturing principles
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Experience & Skills):
Experience in analyzing on hand inventory vs. demand requirements to ensure orders are placed to accommodate schedules and excess material is reviewed by programs and disposed of in a timely manner.
Familiar with various types of physical inventory (Cycle, Sample, Stratification, Wall to Wall).
Bachelors or higher degree.
Working knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS).
Production Control or Material Management experience in a US Government contractor environment.
Pervious management experience – as a Manager in a Production Control/Material Management stockroom or warehousing environment.
Additional formal training in the Production Control/Material Management field.
Experience in Production Control or Material Management in an aerospace environment.
Experience working in an MRO environment as it relates to material management.

Summary pay range: $100,300 – $135,700
