The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization has an exciting opportunity for a Lean Practitioner (Experienced) to join our Global Technical Operations (GTO) Site Integration, Affordability, & Lean team in Jacksonville, FL. This role presents a dynamic and rewarding opportunity. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring strategic alignment across site transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will be expected to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach with internal and external partners and leverage his/her knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Six Sigma, safety, quality, productivity, and affordability to shape the planning, development, and execution of Boeing Production Systems solutions to satisfy program needs.
This position requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong project management, communication and teamwork skills, who is comfortable working across organizational levels. The role demands adaptability to change and the ability to implement lean principles effectively.
Position Responsibilities:
Connect Lean principles and strategy to execution and results – utilizing the Boeing Values and Behaviors and closed loop for continuous improvement
Develop and deploy systematic approaches to capture and replicate innovations and improvement best practices
Represent Lean / continuous improvement function in program reviews and strategic planning
Operationalize data analytics into daily Lean practice and priorities
Instructs others in continuous improvement tools and principles
Develops and updates instructional materials
Tailors message to specific audience level
Guides the effective application and integration of LEAN implementation
Leads and facilitates complex and high visibility process improvement efforts
Develops an integrated strategy and assists with its strategic deployment
Leads the development of new improvement tools. Benchmarks best practices
Leads and facilitates the improvement and standardization of enterprise policies and procedures
Represents the LEAN improvements function in program reviews
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience implementing lean principles, to include identifying opportunities and making recommendations for value stream improvements that resulted in improved business position through culture transformation.
5+ years of experience planning and facilitating Lean workshops (e.g., BPSM /AIW / 3P / Kaizen / VSM, Process Mapping, AIW,)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
5+ Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
5+ Experience developing presentations for Leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Project management certification
Knowledge and application of the Boeing Production System (BPS)
Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
5+ years of experience in partnering with all key functions in an integrator/lead role
Able to work independently without high levels of supervision (self-motivated)
Experience in Project Management activities & Tools (Project Scheduling, Planning, Execution / Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar)
Shift: This role will be on 1st shift but may require split shift support occasionally.

Summary Pay Range:
Level 3 - $96,050 - 129,950/Annually
Level 4 - $116,450 - $157,500/Annually
