Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Mid-Level Procurement Agent (Level 3) to support the DC&N Special Projects in Huntington Beach, CA, El Segundo, CA, or Tukwila, WA!

Position Responsibilities:  

• Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
• Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
• Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
• Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
• Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
• Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 3 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
• More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
• More than 3 years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• More than 5 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
• More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
• More than 5 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts
• 5 + years of experience with USG and Commercial major sub contracts
• Experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• Experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
• Experience in the procurement of EEE devices and components
• Experience in the procurement of hardware and services in a Research & Development Environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range:

Mid-Level (Level 3): $79,900 - $98,700

Security Clearance
