Boeing Global Services (BGS) Distribution Business is looking for an Experienced Contract Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our team in Hialeah, FL.
Strategically sources and establishes Long Term Agreements on aerospace parts. Compiles and analyzes data to determine product contracting opportunities while determining the best overall supply matrices that provide the lowest cost to the system consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Stays informed about industry, commodity markets, and price projections to aid in making informed recommendations for RFQs. . Develops and presents procurement strategies to leadership and the BDSI Category Council. Negotiates Long Term Agreements, complete with proposal analyses, price negotiations, and contract terms
Position Responsibilities:
Autonomously conduct market analysis and Long Term Agreement recommendations in accordance with the commodity and business strategies to deliver on contracting and saving goals
Develop and assess requests for information (RFI) and request for quotes (RFQ) to support strategic sourcing and dual-sourcing initiatives
Use business analysis to determine Long Term Agreement opportunities to meet global procurement requirements and conduct reports as required
Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, and execute Long Term Agreements
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholder
Perform supply planning by evaluating inventory levels, safety stock, validating forecast, and selecting approved suppliers to determine investment strategy.
Perform sourcing activities, including strategic sourcing, alternate / dual sourcing, supplier and part qualification / and approval
Maintain awareness and understanding of department key deliverables and how contracting decisions impact those deliverables
Provides expertise on business process and continuous improvement. Trains other team members as needed.
Communicate effectively up and down the organization and skillfully present to executive leadership.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
4+ total years of related experience
4+ years of experience in Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Strategic Sourcing
1+ years of experience with basic ERP system functionality such as Systems Applications and Processing (SAP) and/or Procurement to Pay (PTP)
Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
Experience interacting directly with suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals
Experience with strategic sourcing / negotiations, and managing supplier performance
Strong project management, data analysis, cross-functional stewardship, and written and oral communication skills
Advanced data analysis and reporting utilizing Excel and SAP
Export Control Requirements: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred – Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study
6+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
APICS Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM),
Experience working in a distribution business environment
Experience in commodity / product knowledge
Demonstrated experience conducting RFQs from commencement to award

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $73,000 - $104,000
