The Boeing Global Services (BGS) team is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent to join the team in Hertford, NC.
The Procurement Agent will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to quickly and effectively address facilities and construction needs for a US Government customer. Work closely with internal departments to identify recurring service requirements and define clear specifications of those needs. Work will be taking place on a US Government facility, and requires an active security clearance.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares and completes proprietary information agreements
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Partners with Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
- Proactively engages with various teams and program partners
- Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer service role
- Experience with Vendor Management
- Knowledge in Contract Management and negotiation
- Procurement lifecycle knowledge (sourcing, negotiation, contract management)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams.
- Technology Proficiency in Maximo and Microsoft Products
- Skilled in analytical and problem-solving
- Strong negotiation skills and vendor management
- Experience in maintaining digital files

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $55,000 - $65,000
