Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Production Specialist to join the Quality team based out of Helena, Montana.
The Quality Production Specialist develops and administers the quality system that ensures and manages the integrity of company products and services related to commercial airplanes. In this role, the candidate will be expected to collaborate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including program executives; track and manage investigations; analyze quality metrics and calibration equipment/software; conduct audits to ensure compliance; review non-conformance records; and complete Root Cause Corrective Actions.

Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements
- Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes
- Participates in the investigation to determine root cause of nonconformance of plans
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems
- Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to nonconformance of plans, products or processes
- Assists with the development, modification and documentation of actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action
- Assists in obtaining corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes and submits for review
- Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution
- Participates and observes the validation associated with corrective action to assure nonconformance has been eliminated
- Verifies internal replication systems adhere to Company and regulatory standards and procedures
- Creates airplane specific airborne software packages
- Conducts audits to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements
- Assists in the creation of reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal distribution
- Works under general supervision
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- 1+ years of experience in a role that required you to analyze and summarize raw data from various sources, and recommend executable action plans
- 1+ years of experience applying Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), or other similar rigorous problem/analysis/resolution, processes to engineering development and manufacturing/production efforts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
- Experience in Leica Laser tracker inspection, Romer/Faro Arm inspections, CMM inspections
- Experience using Spatial Analyzer software for analyzing GD&T for product acceptance
- Experience using PC-DMIS software for analyzing GD&T for product acceptance
- Experience in writing inspection plans in Spatial Analyzer
- Experience in writing inspection programs in PC-DMIS
- Experience working with (CMES) Common Manufacturing Execution System
- Experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment
- Experience in performing and coaching root cause analysis and problem solving for all levels of leadership

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Associate (Level 2): $61,200 - $79,200
Experienced (Level 3): $77,400 - $100,100
Senior (Level 4): $96,200 - $124,300
