Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Fabrication Specialists to join the Boeing Helena Torque Tubes Ops team in Helena, Montana.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Entry-Level and Associate Fabrication Specialists.
The selected candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. The individual may perform hand-finishing or paint operations. This role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure high-quality production.
Position Responsibilities:
Review of standard work instructions, analysis of work required the ability to assess use the necessary tools to execute the job post training.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to understand machining requirements
Operate hand tools
Review work after completion and ensure defects are not present.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications
Document production data, machine settings, and quality checks accurately
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with engineers, quality control, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Report any equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors promptly
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
3+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
3+ years of experience in a role that required strong attention to details
High school diploma or equivalent

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range:
Experienced (Level A): $46,000 – $49,000
Associate (Level B): $50,000 - $56,500
Sign-On Bonus: External candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $2,500.
