Boeing Government Training Engineering is looking for a Senior P-8 Pilot Subject Matter Expert to join the P-8A Training Systems Mission Assurance Team in Hazelwood, MO. Selected candidate will support software and hardware testing to include device delivery acceptance testing with the customer for the Operational Flight Trainer (OFT) and Weapon System Trainer (WST) across current and upcoming contracts and projects. The candidate will support test activities for P-8A U.S. Navy and P-8A FMS Foreign Military training device testing at facilities in Hazelwood, MO; Jacksonville, FL; Whidbey Island, WA; Australia; South Korea; Germany; and Canada, with potential for new customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of simulators converted from the 737 to the P-8 to ensure Level D-equivalent performance and functionality
- Verify fixes by retesting previously discovered anomalies
- Analyze, review, and validate test data and acceptance test procedures
- Operate the Operational Flight Trainer (OFT), Weapon System Trainer (WST), and other training devices as required
- Support hardware and software testing and assist in the development of training requirements for P-8 training systems customers
- Develop and write Acceptance Test Plans and Procedures
- Prepare user-level documentation, customer briefings, and tracking metrics
- Interface with project teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions
- Review and edit subsystem and system-level requirements and designs
- Provide on-site customer assistance to support the introduction and acceptance of new training equipment
- Research and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory authority requirements and industry standards
- Lead and review Boeing processes across organizations for defining customer products, delivery, and support
- Develop or revise processes to support customer requirements or company guideline changes
- Work under minimal direction and meet contractual milestones
- Off shift, overtime and weekend work may be required
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 8+ years of experience as a 737, P-8, or P-3 pilot
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- P-8 Instructor Pilot or WTI qualified
- Operational experience with deployed maritime operations
- Experience with Air-to-Air Refueling procedures
- Experience using P-8A Aircrew Training Devices (such as WTT, PTT, OFT, MSDT, ECs)
- Technical Bachelor’s degree or higher

Summary Pay Range: $122,400- $165,600
