Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Hazelwood, Missouri.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manage, develop, motivate and build trust with employees and stakeholders 
• Integrate and collaborate across the Supply Chain function 
• Enhance the skill and talent of our team to meet the current and future business        environment 
• Identify and leverage best practices from both within and outside the enterprise improvement in everything we do 
• Model a sense of purpose, urgency and desire to be the best at what we do. 
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals 
• Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of supply chain processes and/or suppliers 
• Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports 

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

         

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• More than 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, or related function 
• More than 3 years of formal or informal people leadership responsibilities  
• More than 5 years in a role requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• More than 3 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-function or cross-business unit teams 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher 
• Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers 

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $114,750 - $141,750
