Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Review Engineer to support the Aerospace Composites Center (ACC) in Hazelwood, MO.
The selected Product Review Engineer will apply knowledge of design principals to assess and resolve product/process issues through the product lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities:
Researches and builds knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for production or simple technical in-service issues.
Assists with analyses, root cause analysis and drafting dispositions for design non-conformances.
Assists system owner in preparation of technical communications. Identifies analyses fleet data, collects and evaluates data on customer findings for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product support issues.
Supports activities to identify deviations that could impact design intent and safety.
Participates in Material Review Boards and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Assists with the design of interim structural repairs to restore damaged structure to original design strength capability.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or technical related field
Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience using Microsoft Office products like Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, and Word
Ability to collaborate with both the engineering workforce and mechanics on the factory floor
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in Product Review Engineering with Material Review Board authority
Experience with assisting with analyses, root cause analysis, and drafting dispositions for non-conformances
Able to work any shift based on needs of the operation
Experience implementing lean principles
MRB (Material Review Board) experience and certification with Boeing or other Aircraft company
Experience in Unigraphics (NX)
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Summary pay range: USD $71,400 - $96,600
