We are seeking a AvionX Product Support Senior Manager responsible for overseeing defense programs and services in Hazelwood, MO.
This leader will play a pivotal role in enhancing product support capabilities within AvionX at Boeing. Acting as the primary liaison to program partners within Boeing, the Senior Manager will monitor production and field performance, address issues as they arise, oversee Root Cause Corrective Actions, and lead a team of product support engineers and project managers. This position will be accountable for execution planning for all AvionX Production Support and In-Service activities across multiple products. The Senior Manager will present monthly performance updates to AvionX senior leadership.

Position Responsibilities:
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Lead cross-functional In-Service teams in problem-solving initiatives.
Manage internal partner relationships to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Oversee product support Root Cause Corrective Action teams to drive resolution of issues.
Implement program management best practices in fleet and production support planning.
Delegate key aspects of daily activities to project managers to optimize team performance.
Customer Support and Engagement:
Serve as the lead Program Control Account Manager for AvionX Products.
Create and deliver Standard Program Performance presentations to stakeholders.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and business partners.
Present program performance reports to various partner organizations.
Provide support to business partners working directly with programs or their customers as needed.
Service Bulletin Development:
Define and develop AvionX Service Bulletins and related technical documentation.
Lead cross-functional teams to complete program-specific Service Bulletins.
Interface with multiple organizations and customer groups to secure approval for Service Bulletins.
Establish release coordination, tracking, and status updates for Service Bulletin or technical resolution actions.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
Establish support requirements, costs, technical objectives, and definitions, including detailed statements of work, reports, master schedules, and program implementation plans.
Lead the creation of estimates in support of proposal activities and research and development efforts.
Monitor process development and coordinate activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current.
Create and lead presentations and status reviews, monitoring the execution of support programs.
Review program and engineering change proposals, assessing their impact on product support.
The ideal candidate will have:
Proficient in developing and interpreting various support data sources, including:
Technical drawings
Logistics Support Analysis Reports
Provisioning documentation
Field performance reports
Field maintenance event records
Strong budget and schedule management skills, including:
Tracking actual expenditures and performance
Monitoring by-name reports for resource allocation
Assessing Earned Value and achieving certification as an Earned Value Management Control Account Manager
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
10+ years of experience focusing on program deliverables and/or support elements.
5+ years of experience in briefing customers and leadership
5+ years of experience working with avionics components and systems
Strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate data in senior leadership briefings.
Experience working in a fast-paced team environment, requiring strong communication skills to interact with program leadership, internal and external customer representatives, and development teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
4+ years of experience in military aviation maintainer, logistician, or supply system role
5+ years of experience in program management, project management, and/or business operations
Demonstrated leadership ability in formal or informal roles within Boeing or in external activities
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects.
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, specifications, and electronic test results
Experience analyzing production reports, identifying status updates, and addressing challenges
Experience leading lead Root Cause Corrective Action projects to resolve product support issues

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $132,600 - $179,400
