Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Engineering Technical Specialist to join the Digital Ecosystem team located in the St. Louis, MO region.
You will be joining a high-performing, cross-functional team responsible for developing a future-ready, state-of-the-art Digital Ecosystem. This position is contingent upon a future contract award.
In this role, you will support the execution of the maturation of the digital ecosystem, which consists of interconnected technologies, platforms (such as manned and/or unmanned aircraft), and services that work together to enable collaboration and data exchanges among various participants, including customer and industry. This interconnectedness enhances customer mission readiness and effectiveness and drives innovation.
The role will require extremely strong organization and communication skills. This role will help the Digital Ecosystem IPT leadership team with planning, coordinating, and managing the cross-functional tasks to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. The ideal candidate will have a background in change management execution and controlling associated data and information.
Position Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, documentation, implementation and consultation for the application of engineering tools, processes and standards
- Assist with training in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs
- Assist in the identification and validation of user access roles and tip sheets
- Define and document product requirements relevant to engineering data and processes
- Track and process customer contracted data and supplier data deliverables, monitoring adherence to company and regulatory data configuration and contractual requirements.
- Assist in providing configuration management, coordinating changes and performing assessments of compliance
- Assist in the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity
- Collect, analyze, and validate engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs
- Work under general supervision
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)clearance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- 1+ years of work related experience with a Master Degree, OR 3+ years work related experience with a Bachelor degree, OR 7+ years of work related experience
- 2+ years’ experience working with and/or coordinating across engineering disciplines to identify best practices and implement on multiple programs
- Strong oral and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Experience with data analysis
Typical Education & Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range: $ 71,400 - $96,600
