Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is looking for Intern Software Developer to join our growing Data Analytics Digital Integration team in Gdansk, Poland.
An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing Poland sp. z o.o. as an Intern Software Developer.
As an Intern Software Developer you will join the Boeing Defense, Space and Security team consisting of highly skilled, high performing developer team members. This team is tasked with transforming the way BDS data is sourced, managed, and utilized to unlock insights to drive business growth and optimization. The team supports data needs for internal stakeholders, across BDS business programs and functions, and is tasked with utilizing data to inform and improve the full lifecycle of BDS products. We are seeking full stack developers to design self-service analytics tools that put the power of insights directly into the hands of users, enabling them to make informed decisions faster than ever before. You’ll be at the forefront of this transformation, crafting innovative, high-performance applications that make data accessible, intuitive, and actionable.
Hiring details:
Candidates are expected to work from our office in Gdansk for at least 3 days a week
This is a full-time position
Work period: Beginning of July to end of September

Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications that enable users to perform self-service analytics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, UX designers, and product managers, to deliver robust analytics solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across the entire stack, including front-end, back-end, and database layers
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services
Use Palantir Foundry platform to develop ontology-based applications
Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
Actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Student status
English proficiency
Existing rights to work in Poland
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Java, Spring Boot)
Experience with database design and management (SQL, NoSQL)
Design and systems thinking skills
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
