The Boeing Poland is currently hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Engineering team in Gdansk, Poland.
As part of the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering data and support to airlines, operators, BGS Supply Chain, and other Boeing teams for spare parts required in their operations.
We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who prioritizes safety and quality. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with subject matter experts and team members to achieve common objectives. Timeliness is important, and the ability to efficiently complete work assignments is essential.
Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of the organization. You will be responsible for addressing engineering and technical requests, as well as developing and implementing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, implements and maintains various material masters and quote back-up sheets to define and document as-built configuration.
Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.
Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met
Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
Supports other teams as instructed to meet engineering commitments.
Working with SAP service notifications, Orders/Quotes, Purchase Requisitions, and Requests for Assistance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
1 year related work experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Upper-intermediate level of English.
Solid understanding and ability to read technical drawings.
Good understanding of main principle units of aircraft.
Fluent in manufacturing engineering technology– familiarity with a most common manufacturing processes used in aerospace (metals, non-metallic, composites, etc.).
Familiar with the main principles of work with databases and software products.
Solid understanding of standards, drawings specifications, technical and maintenance documents.
Ability to provide technical support to other engineers.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Able to work collaboratively with multi-functional team and work flexible hours to meet the business needs.
Flexible & adaptable in a diverse & fast paced environment.
2 years of experience with Manufacturing Engineering.
Familiar with creation of instructions and necessary tools or applications for optimization of the working process.
