Align engineering plans with programme budget, risk appetite, and schedule; lead engineering governance reviews and sign-offs for technical content.
Technical Risk & Assurance (Engineering Focus)
Identify, assess, and mitigate engineering-specific risks related to interfaces and certification; maintain proactive mitigation and evidence for assurance.
Develop engineering risk registers, mitigation strategies, and contingency options; justify certification decisions with engineering evidence.
Customer & Regulatory Engagement (Engineering-Driven)
Represent the integrated engineering team in customer, programme, and executive forums; clearly articulate engineering commitments, risks, and trade-offs.
Build strategic relationships with suppliers, and customers to support certification and programme success.
Compliance, Certification & Quality (Engineering Core)
Ensure all integrated engineering packages meet regulatory, certification, safety, and quality standards from an engineering perspective.
Lead engineering documentation governance, configuration management, change control, and evidence packages required for certification and customer acceptance.
Team Leadership, Development & Engineering Excellence
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of integration engineers with an emphasis on engineering depth, credibility, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Promote succession planning, targeted technical development, and structured cross-training to strengthen multi-disciplinary engineering capability.
