Boeing Intelligence and Analytics is looking for a Technical Writer to join a dynamic team supporting the Army OSINT Office.
As a member of the team, you are an integral part of a global force supporting our Warfighters at a time of strategic competition. On this program, you will translate customer needs into detailed requirements and develop integrated software and support processes enabling the transformation of information into intelligence for decision advantage.
Candidates must be able to adapt in an exciting, dynamic operational environment while maintaining relationships with stakeholders and customers.
- Write and/or edit technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, and operational specifications to effectively communicate technical specifications and instructions to diverse audiences.
- Acquire subject knowledge through interviews with product developers, observation of production methods, and reference to technical specifications, blueprints, and trade journals.
- Oversee the preparation of illustrative materials, selecting appropriate drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts.
- Conduct quality reviews of technical materials to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Translate complex data into user-friendly text for various print and electronic publications, including technical journals, user manuals, websites, and podcasts.
- Gather information through research, statistical reports, and interviews with technical staff.
- Develop cataloging systems and maintain records, files, and electronic media for publication archiving.
- Assist in preparing materials for technical seminars and business forums and may participate in technical or business presentations as needed.
- Select or recommend layouts, graphics, drawings, tables, and exhibits to enhance publication objectives.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
- Advanced education (e.g., bachelor's degree).
- Typically, 10 or more years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Proven experience in technical writing/editing, with a focus on complex technical documents.
- Strong command of language and ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in research methodologies and data interpretation.
- Experience in developing and maintaining cataloging systems for technical publications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Experience in leading writing and editing production teams.
- Knowledge of content and configuration management systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory and legal requirements in technical documentation.
- Track record of developing innovative communication solutions for customers.
- Awareness of emerging trends and technology in the writing industry.

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$105,000 - $131,000
