Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Associate (Level 2), Experienced (Level 3), or Senior (Level 4) Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Everett, Washington.
Primary responsibilities:
- Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
- Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
- Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
- Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
- Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- Experience working in a quality job role.
- Experience working with Quality Standards.
- Experience with ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing data; summarizing findings; developing conclusions.
- Experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
- Project management experience.
- Experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and experience in supplier audits (e.g., FMEA, system, product, and process audit assessment)
- Experience, and at least considered an intermediate user, with office tools such Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience with utilizing analytic skills: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
- Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process
- Experience in various quality tools and processes such as inspection plans, control plans, and measurement system analysis (MSA).
- Experience with Statistical Product Acceptance and review of supplier statistical plans
- Experience with Engineering Process Improvement Methods: knowledge of producibility and process improvement methodologies (e.g., statistical process control (SPC), 6-Sigma)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Ability to present technical findings to various levels of leadership

Summary Pay Range:
- Associate (Level 2): $78,200 - $105,800
- Experienced (Level 3): $94,350 - $127,650
- Senior (Level 4): $116,450 - $157,550
