Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior Manufacturing Managers (Level L) to lead parts of Boeing Commercial Airplane's 777 CI&R Line Team in Everett, Washington.
Position will be responsible for managing Performance to Plan and implementing strategies to ensure employee and product safety, first pass quality and continuous improvement are imbedded into the culture to increase productivity and team morale. Position will develop strategic plans to support emergent requests, review and adjust implementation plans, resolve issues, and provide coaching, mentoring, and developmental opportunities to enhance teammate performance. Additionally, this role will promote employee engagement and cultivate an organizational culture that improves employee satisfaction and retains a skilled and motivated workforce.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Leads, develops, coaches, and motivates others, with a mindset of safety, first pass quality, excellence, and continuous improvement
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
Shift:
We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shift, decisions on shift will be made at time of offer; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Summary pay range: $161,100 - $196,900
