The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Information Technology Process Analyst to join the team in Seattle, WA; Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO or North Charleston, SC.
The Simplify and Streamline Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) team is seeking an experienced Process Excellence Lead responsible for identifying and driving improvements for employee experience and transforming the way we work across the IDT&S organization.
We are seeking an experienced Process Excellence Lead who specializes in defining and optimizing IDT&S processes through Value Stream Mapping (VSM). This role will lead using clear communication and LEAN principles to reduce friction and empower employees to work more efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end process discovery, mapping, and improvement initiatives, translating findings into actionable recommendations. In addition, you will craft targeted communications for various IDT&S roles (e.g., developers, operations, security, product managers, project management) to clearly convey improvement work, demonstrations, and benefits. You will collaborate with cross-functional IDT&S teams to drive measurable improvements, sustainment, and stakeholder engagement across the organization.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead value stream mapping efforts to visualize current-state processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and non-value-added steps
- Define and design future-state processes and roadmaps that improve cycle times, quality, and customer value
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with IT stakeholders to gather requirements, validate insights, and socialize improvement opportunities
- Develop and socialize clear, role-tailored communications that explain improvement work, benefits, and changes to different IT audiences
- Translate process insights into actionable recommendations, metrics, and governance mechanisms
- Collaborate with process owners, product managers, developers, operations, security, and other IDT&S teams to implement changes and monitor outcomes
- Measure impact using relevant KPIs (lead time, cycle time, throughput, defect rates, deployment frequency, etc.) and report progress to leadership
- Mentor and coach teams on Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, and VSM methodologies as needed
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years’ experience with processes analysis, processes development, and process improvement
- 3+ years’ experience with Value Stream Mapping
- 5+ years’ experience communicating with technical experts and explaining difficult technical concepts to non-technical business users
- 3+ years’ experience do you have in business and/or organizational change management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise communications tailored to different IDT&S roles
- Proficiency with process documentation tools and data analysis and familiarity with ITIL/DevOps concepts a plus
- Lean certification
- Experience with enterprise IDT&S environments, DevOps practices, software delivery pipelines, and IDT&S operations.
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and security/compliance considerations within IT processes.
- Experience producing role-specific communications for audiences such as developers, operations/DevOps, security, PMs, and executives.
- Experience leading large-scale process improvement programs or transformation initiatives.
- Strong storytelling ability: turning data and process maps into compelling narratives for leadership and teams.
- Experience with change impact assessments, training material development, and adoption tracking

Summary Pay Range: $119,850 – $173,650
