The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Estimating & Pricing Specialist - Product Development Balanced Design to join our team in Everett, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining parametric cost models and providing rapid, reliable cost estimates across projects and programs.
The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and experience with statistical and parametric techniques to support early-phase decision-making.
This position will be a part of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Product Development Estimating team, a group focused on the next generation of commercial technologies and airplanes. The team has four sub-teams supporting various aspects of the Commercial Product Development (PD) Organization: Financial Modeling, Production System, Config / Trade Studies and Balanced Design. BCA Product Development is complex and fast-paced environment, and all teams will require creative problem-solving and cross-functional partnership to support business priorities.
The Balanced Design team is responsible for supporting the high-quality, producible and affordable development of a future commercial product. In support of that mission, this group will collaborate closely with the Engineering and future Systems teams to improve the visibility of financial data within Engineering systems and processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop cost models and cost visibility for use by engineering and finance disciplines
Perform economic analysis in support of engineering decision-making process (for example, trade studies, business cases for technical options)
Provide affordability project management
Assist Technical teams in finding cost and quality data
Improve visibility of cost data within the design process
Integrate cost analysis within business partner/engineering environments
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's Degree or higher
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience using data analysis to drive decision making
Experience working in multifaceted and engage with teams across multiple functions
Experience with data architecture and systems integrations/development projects
Experience utilizing Engineering systems and data to inform and integrate with financial models
Experience developing and implementing processes, collaborating/iterating with partners throughout
Familiarity with Systems Engineering concepts (requirements, simulation & modeling)
Familiarity with Design Engineering concepts and tool suite (e.g. CAD, PLM)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $127,800 - $156,200
