Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ (BCA) Production System Training (PST) team is seeking a Senior Employee Development Specialist to join our team in Everett, WA. This role will focus on delivering specialized training content related to electrical systems.
Our organization’s primary focus extends beyond training new hires in manufacturing, quality, and materials management. We also play a crucial role in equipping existing employees with essential skills as they transition between different skill sets. Position Responsibilities:
Lead projects designed to produce educational deliverables
Perform ongoing monitoring of stakeholders' operating environments and key business measures and objectives
Coach and develop less experienced instructors
Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify additional instructors
Deploy development tools and monitor implementation and performance outcomes
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide training consultation services in the following disciplines: doors, mechanical, seal, and aircraft systems
Identify and validate training by observing, measuring, testing, reviewing, and analyzing to ensure that learning objectives are met effectively
Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers (e.g., curriculum developers, instructional systems designers, engineers, programmers, strategic learning advisors, etc.) to develop creative training enhancements, guided skills practices, job aids, capstone projects, and activities to assist learners during and after training
The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including 1st shift (day shift), 2nd shift and 3rd shift (night shift), based on business needs. Candidates must be willing and able to adapt to changing schedules and work hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to support continuous operations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
Experience in coaching, instructing, or as an employee development specialist
Experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Aerospace Manufacturing and Lean Certification(s)
Experience designing and employing leadership development courseware and/or curriculum
Experience with structural, electrical, repair, functional test, systems, etc.
Experience as a mechanic working with structural, mechanical, electrical, or other systems
Experience in the following areas: electrician, structure, wing/spar assembly, needs assessment, and job analysis

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $96,900 - $131,100
