Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Airworthiness and Regulatory Engineer to join our 777-9 ALIT SC&P Team in Everett, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads the identification, analysis, and assessment of regulatory and contractual compliance of aerospace systems, products and services.
- Leads collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to define, validate, and integrate airworthiness and regulatory compliance requirements; incorporates into designs, operations, and procedures.
- Reviews complex regulatory and customer requirements and evaluates impact to company products and services.
- Leads analysis of regulatory and certification technical data for completeness and alignment to applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Leads development of a compliance statement for the airworthiness of aerospace systems and products.
- Researches, investigates and monitors compliance processes or reported in-service fleet issues for achieving regulatory compliance and recommends and leads process improvements or corrective actions.
- Engages with regulators on complex programs or initiatives to shape certification strategies, approaches, activities, and artifacts.
- Partners with regulatory authorities to complete validation of airworthiness to applicable requirements as authorized.
- Provides advanced technical support, training, tools and resources to the delegated approval organization.
- Develops, reviews, and maintains complex compliance reports and documents in accordance with applicable requirements and regulations.
- Leads establishing and promoting global regulatory advocacy strategies, trainings, tools, and methods.
- Rapidly understand complex technical concepts across multiple engineering disciplines and analyze complex technical problems to develop actionable execution plans.
- Provide technical and integration leadership for the 777-9 Program, addressing engineering issues that require cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities (FAA and EASA) and internal engineering teams to establish the certification basis for aircraft systems and equipment, as well as means of compliance.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including peers, stakeholders, senior and executive leadership, regulators, and suppliers.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 8+ years’ related work experience.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Senior $128,350 - $173,650
