Boeing Product Development is currently seeking a Senior Airplane Systems Technology Project Manager to join our team in Everett, WA. This position will support the Commercial Airplane Systems Product Development organization. The selected candidate will manage visibility and performance of a portfolio of airplane systems technology development projects. The selected candidate will have extensive skills in communication and collaboration, as this position will work with stakeholders across multiple Business Units and engineering disciplines.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the portfolio team of domain experts to build out project plans, identify and manage risks, issues, and roadblocks, and support the team in achieving committed deliverables
- Manage portfolio planning and performance reporting to defined enterprise standards, guidance, and enforcement policies including portfolio budgets and project deliverables
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure their project needs and concerns are identified and impact to project is known
- Generate and utilize an array of media, clearly convey information and ideas to individuals and groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
- Discover new opportunities and solutions for project visibility and performance reporting by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking
- Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze planning and performance data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate official data sources
- Understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area
- Understand the inter-relationships between the plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance
- Manage integration of portfolio projects to enterprise activities, like Model-Based initiatives, and future airplane activities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Associate’s degree or hi10+ years of experience with program management, project management and business operations
- 10+ years of experience creating and implementing project or communication plans, strategies, and tactics
- 5+ years of experience developing risk mitigation plans
- 5+ years of experience with Boeing project planning and management tools
- 5+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Agile and Lean Project Management
- Experience with Model Based Engineering technology development
- Project Management Professional certification, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner desired

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Senior $115,600 - $156,400
