Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Career (Level 3) or Expert (Level 4) Quality Systems Specialist based out of Everett, WA to support the SQ Data and Systems team.
This position provides a unique opportunity within the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Supplier Quality organization to help define and develop the future of digital software systems and applications used in the planning and oversight of Boeing Supplier’s quality performance.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Career (Level 3) or Expert (Level 4) Quality Systems Specialist.
Position Responsibilities:
- Reviews proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements ensuring early quality involvement in program development
- Prepares and maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures, and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed
- Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems
- Participates with stakeholders to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation
- Conducts research, compiles, and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics, to continuously improve process capability
- Conducts quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements and support business decisions and develops a coordinated response for management review and approval
- Conducts hardware, software, and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and reports results to management
- Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts, and equipment
- Works under general direction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in project management
- 5+ years of experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Applications
- 5+ years of experience developing reports and presentations for leadership
- 3+ years of experience working with Quality and/or Safety Corrective Action/Preventative Action, Root Cause Corrective Action Processes
- 3+ years of experience in collecting, interpreting data, and managing high level projects for management
- 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics (collecting, organizing, synthesizing and analyzing data) and Data Visualization (e.g. Tableau or Cognos dashboards)
- Experience with software project management software (e.g. Git, Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of supplier quality and/or quality processes
- 5+ years of experience in database management and SQL language (SQL, Teradata, Oracle servers)
- 5+ years of experience resolving issues and developing solutions to summarize and convey complex information clearly and concisely
- 3+ years of experience related to software development processes and agile (Scrum / Kanban) project management
- 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to define and manage critical requirements in a development environment
- Experience running sprint planning meetings, prioritizing backlogs, and delivering iterative value while coordinating with cross functional teams
- Experience with Programming/Coding languages: Python, JavaScript, React
- Experience developing reports and presentations for Senior and Executive Leadership

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range (Level 3): $102,000 - $138,000
Summary pay range (Level 4): $125,800 - $170,200
