The BCA Software Engineering (SWE) Organization at the Boeing Company is currently looking for a highly motivated, strategic, organized Project Management Specialist (Senior or Expert) who will partner directly with the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Software Engineering (SWE) executive director to manage and run the BCA SWE business in Everett, WA. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and navigate between Enterprise Software Engineering and BCA Business Unit initiatives/expectations.
This role requires a resourceful, self-driven, outcome-oriented individual with meticulous attention to detail. The BCA SWE Chief of Staff must have the ability to adapt, execute, communicate skillfully, and lead through influence. The ideal candidate will have business/software engineering/program management experience.
Position Responsibilities:
Drive performance, execution, and accountability of action items and top strategic priorities agreed upon by the Software Leadership Team
Lead complex BCA Software Engineering projects related to new goals and priorities
Partner with Workforce Strategy and Finance on Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) execution and program engagements such as organizational budget preparation and tracking
Analyze and document business processes and workflows to identify integration opportunities and drive efficiency
Own and continuously improve BCA Software Engineering operating cadence (e.g. BCA Software Leadership meetings, Software Quality/Technical Review Board (SQRB/STRB), ET&T Metric submittals, PtPs, Look-Ahead, and strategy)
Support the productivity of leadership meetings by owning the coordination, agendas, and driving subsequent actions related to strategic direction agreed upon by BCA Software Leadership Team
Drive internal communications strategy including team emails, websites, surveys, newsletters and videos
Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree from an accredited course of study
5+ years of experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
5+ years of experience managing complex projects
Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives
Ability to drive change and transformation while dealing with ambiguity in a complex, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools
5+ years of experience working with financial tools
Ability to work successfully with diverse range of stakeholders, including various functional disciplines (Systems, HR, Finance, Workforce Strategy) and to lead and influence across multiple levels of leadership and functions within a matrixed organization
Experienced with financial data analysis and staffing tools (including Adaptive Planning and CARMS)
High tolerance for ambiguity and complexity while working in time-sensitive and rapidly evolving situations
Advanced use of MS PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent)
Executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal to create impactful emails, talking points, briefings, pre-read and presentation materials
Tableau visualization tool or analytics dashboard development experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Senior Level: $115,600 - $156,400
Summary pay range for Expert Level: $141,950 - $192,050
