Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring an Associate Project Management Specialist to join the 777-9 Business Operations Team supporting the development, certification, and delivery of the 777-9 in Everett, WA.
This position will support initiatives related to both Business Operations goals and engineering performance. A successful candidate will have a robust background in Project Management, a flexible and resilient mindset, and the ability to negotiate, communicate, and drive decision-making across diverse groups. This is a challenging and dynamic position with room for long-term growth and advancement and we are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, collaborating with diverse groups, and tackling complex problems.
Position Responsibilities:
The duties of the position and their approximate time commitment are listed below. These are estimates that will change regularly given program needs and requirements.
(50%) Maintenance of Internal Projects/Schedules: Assist in defining the scope and objectives of internal Business Operations initiatives; act as primary point of contact for updates.
(25%) Metrics and Reporting: Create and maintain reports and metrics related to program engineering performance as well as internal Business Operations schedule health metrics.
(10%) Maintain Facilities Plan: Independently coordinate with Business Operations and Engineering to maintain updated seating maps, coordinate any building moves and assist with needs for building seating. Manage, update, and socialize building safety plan as needed. Assist in management of stocking/compliance related to emergency supplies and equipment. Ensure Business Operations office supplies are stocked.
(10%) Reporting and Presenting: Communicate progress to plan to Business Operations, Engineering, and other applicable stakeholders. Some communication will be done via e-mail but a large portion will involve face-to-face communication in meetings.
(5%) Other Duties: Includes training and mentoring newer employees, partnering with integrated scheduling to perform risk and opportunity assessments, process improvement projects, assisting customers with recovery plans, etc.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Five or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years experience building and maintaining high-level schedules in MS Project, Open Plan Professional, or similar tools.
- 5+ years experience presenting complex topics to management and/or executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in airplane development, aircraft certification, and/or aerospace project management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in project management or related field

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $96,000-$103,000
