Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Product Data Management Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our Configuration Management and Release team in Everett, Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the configuration management processes and ensuring the integrity and consistency of product configuration throughout its lifecycle.
As a CDM Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of innovation, supporting the full lifecycle of new, derivative, and complex products. You’ll collaborate with talented cross-functional teams to set the foundation for success, establishing and maintaining process and product baselines that drive excellence.
In this dynamic position, you’ll lead and contribute to technical design reviews and audits, analyze product trades and changes, and champion the implementation of industry-leading CDM standards, processes, and tools. Your expertise will be key in coordinating seamless product integration, resolving engineering product structure challenges, and developing robust engineering program plans that anticipate impacts, mitigate risks, and capture valuable lessons learned.

Position Responsibilities:
- Participate and collaborate in the development, analysis, management, and compliance verification of process and product baselines for new, derivative, and complex products.
- Define, plan, coordinate, and conduct product and subsystem technical design reviews and audits.
- Perform routine to complex trade and change analyses; develop technically complete change proposals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of CDM standards, processes, systems, and tools.
- Utilize customer data to define and allocate CDM requirements for hardware, software, and engineering design data across the product lifecycle.
- Coordinate integration of product elements and analyze/resolve issues with engineering product structures.
- Develop, integrate, and implement engineering technical program plans, including impacts, risks, and incorporation of lessons learned across multiple engineering functions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 2+ years engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years engineering experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range (Level 2): $89,250 - $120,750
Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $105,400 - $142,600
