The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology SAP Senior Manager to join the SAP S/4 Center of Excellence to manage and run the Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) and Plan to Perform (Pl2Pe) Functional Design team in Everett, WA; Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX; Hazelwood, MO; Miami, FL; Ridley Park, PA; or Seattle, WA.
As the Systems, Applications & Products (SAP) Functional Design & Delivery Senior Manager, you will be the main responsible manager for the SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) and SAP Plan to Perform (PL2Pe), maintaining the template and landscape up to date, supporting the business in designing and developing new solutions, ensuring that all changes, projects, enhancements and fixes are applied according to the SAP activate methodology and best practices of the industry. As the SAP functional leader, you will manage the functional team based on the business priorities, coordinating and communicating in a timely manner with the stakeholders. As an important agent for change and innovation, you’ll need to be up to date with recent updates of existing and new modules in the market, SAP and non-SAP, that bring efficiency or robustness to the core business process while pushing cutting edge technologies or automation. The focus of the role is to manage the EPPM and PL2Pe value streams.
The individual is expected to be an expert in global organization management with the ability to handle team members dispersed across multiple United States (US) sites as well as other global locations outside of US. Strong business acumen and excellent partnership skills are paramount to working in demanding and highly skilled work environment to collaborate and influence people and decisions from the stakeholders and other IT divisions. The role reports to the Sr Manager and the individual is expected to lead a team of individual contributors in higher levels.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage a team of SAP EPPM and SAP PL2Pe implementation experts through SAP S4 projects, responsible for design and delivery within our SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) organization
Create standards and maintain templates for successful EPPM and Pl2Pe implementations
Manage and integrate employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquire resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manage and provide developmental opportunities for employees
Drive end-to-end technical design, and in collaboration with delivery team’s realization and deployment activities across the enterprise and SI’s
Adopt and establish standards, best practices and processes as needed towards designing high quality functional and technical solutions
Drive governance of the functional and technical design of Solution Delivery functions
Represent solution delivery architecture with cross functional teams across the ERP solution delivery including, but not limited to development, testing, data management, infrastructure, security, operations and release management functions
Manage the workload and backlog of the functional analyst team, guaranteeing that their capabilities are kept updated, while also working in sync with the Development team
Support the functional and development team in designing solutions that are aligned with the current architecture, using the infrastructure in an efficient way
Measure, track, and correct outcomes based on metrics including Service Level Agreements (SLA), Key Performance Indicators (KPI), user-experience, and customer satisfaction
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
10+ years of experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and SAP Controlling (CO)
5+ years of experience Finance integration with SAP PPM & SAP EPPM for financial tracking and reporting
5+ years of experience in managing financial cost reporting within PL2Pe
3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change in SAP S/4 environment
Experience in implementing SAP EPPM (Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management) in SAP S4
Experience in SAP system architecture, configuration, and administration
Able to travel both domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4HANA Portfolio and Project Management
5+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization
5+ years of experience in Information Technology (IT) systems
3+ years of experience in the Digital Transformation Environment (DTE)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $151,300 – $218,500
