Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a General Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to join the 767 Final Assembly Team in Everett, WA. This position is primarily for 1st or 2nd shift.
As a General Manufacturing Manager, you will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will have experience, knowledge and a background in airplane systems with in-depth knowledge of functional testing.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads by demonstrating and holding all accountable to the Boeing Values and Behaviors
Leads, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in Aerospace manufacturing
3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in functional testing
3+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
3+ years of experience in coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
Shift:
This position is primarily for 1st or 2nd shift. However, the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as needed to meet business requirements.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $141,300 - $172,700
