The Opportunity

We're seeking experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the Apache rotary‑wing sustainment team, working alongside the Army customer. This is a hands‑on role where safety, quality and aviation compliance are paramount. If you're a qualified Supply Chain Manager who takes pride in precision and teamwork, we'd like to hear from you.

Location: Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, QLD (on‑base)
Eligibility: Australian citizens only (Defence security requirements)
What you'll do
- Lead execution of supply, procurement and stock assessment services delivered by the supply support team.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools to provide regular updates on supply chain performance, DCS financials and FMS delivery to the ILS Manager.
- Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and communication with Warehousing, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain to align activities and resolve issues.
- Maintain efficient supply chain processes, drive continuous improvement and identify optimisation opportunities in line with ADF supply chain policy.
- Monitor and report KPIs for supply chain performance, including FMS deliveries, DCS commitments/expenditure and logistics task tracking.
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify developing inventory issues that could affect operational outcomes and recommend mitigations.
- Manage and report FMS supply chain activities and deliverables using the Security Cooperation International Portal and in‑house tools.
- Manage and resolve complex supply chain events (e.g. AOG) and escalate to the ILS Manager when required.
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations in aerospace, defence or complex technical environments.
- Experience with FMS processes and/or DCS financial management highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop reporting tools and present data to senior stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills; proven ability to work under pressure and manage time‑critical events.
Desirable skills and experience
- Knowledge of ADF supply chain policy and the Australian defence logistics environment.
- Familiarity with the Security Cooperation International Portal or similar FMS systems.
- ERP/WMS experience and strong IT literacy.
- Experience working on Army sustainment programs or within a military support environment.
