We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Data Service Product Manager to join our Digital Services team within the BGS Digital Services organization. This position can be located in Englewood, Co., Long Beach, Ca., or Seattle, Wa.
The Data Service Product Manager oversees the evaluation of business opportunities to define and optimize the product offerings by analyzing and understanding target markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment. Advises on product development to create products and validates early product definitions with customers. Oversees the formulation of product strategies and identification new product opportunities. Leads the development of project plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share.
In this Product Management role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining pricing models, go-to-market strategies, and partnering with our sales teams to bring our data service products to market. You will work closely with business development, marketing, strategy, technical / engineering execution teams, and numerous other functional partners to support to deliver high-value solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with airline stakeholders to implement data service programs and monitor their value.
- Analyze customer operations and workflows to identify opportunities for product and service improvements and operational enhancements.
- Translate operational insights and airline needs into requirements to guide product development and feature enhancements.
- Work closely with sales to ensure the value proposition of our products and services are accurately understood and represented in the market.
- Lead and manage airline data service sales campaigns, including planning, execution, and validation of results to ensure measurable improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design, testing, and deployment of innovative aviation solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to data services.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with airlines in the commercial market.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a cross-functional environment, either formally or informally.
- At least 3 years of experience in customer-focused business development, commercial growth strategy, product development, or consulting within technical/aerospace roles.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in developing and presenting recommendations to executive-level management.
- Experience in aeronautical data
- Experience developing business cases and pricing models.
- Experience in developing Go-To Market strategies for aeronautical data or avionics products and services.
- Experience collaborating with sales teams and providing market materials in assisting with sales campaigns.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Pilot’s license
- Familiarity with software used in navigation database packing and delivery.
- Knowledge of aeronautical data pipeline for Flight Management Systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: 124,950 – 169,050
