Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Lead Product Management Specialist to join our Digital Services team in Englewood, Colorado or Seattle, Washington. Boeing Global Services (BGS) Digital Services is at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions that enhance the operational efficiency of commercial airplanes.
The Data Delivery Product Manager oversees a suite of tools that allow customers to configure and deliver Loadable Software Airplane Parts (LSAPs). Advise on product development to create products and validate early product definitions with customers and application partners. Oversee the formulation of product strategies and identification of new product opportunities. Leads the development of project plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share.
In this Product Management role, you will be responsible for creating business requirements, validating the proposed architecture will meet business goals and objectives, and providing acceptance of software. You will work closely with business development, marketing, strategy, technical / engineering execution teams, and numerous other functional partners to support delivering high-value solutions to our customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with airline stakeholders to implement data delivery programs and monitor their value
Analyze customer operations and workflows to identify opportunities for product and service improvements and operational enhancements
Translate operational insights and airline needs into requirements to guide product development and feature enhancements
Work closely with sales to ensure the value proposition of our products and services are accurately understood and represented in the market
Lead cross-functional teams in the design, testing, and deployment of innovative aviation solutions
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to data services
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum 5 years of experience working with airlines in the commercial market.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a cross-functional environment, either formally or informally.
At least 5 years of experience in customer-focused business development, commercial growth strategy, product development, or consulting within technical/aerospace roles.
Proven experience (1+ years) in developing and presenting recommendations to executive-level management.
Experience in aeronautical data delivery systems
Experience developing business cases and pricing models.
Experience with computing architecture and data flows for aeronautical data or avionics products and services.
Experience collaborating with sales teams and providing market materials in assisting with sales campaigns.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field.
Pilot’s license
Knowledge of Class III EFB software applications and how they are loaded and used by Airlines
Knowledge of the aeronautical data pipeline for a Class III EFB or mobile application

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Starting Pay Rate: $160,500 – $218,000
