The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager to join the team in Dallas, TX.
The selected candidate will be joining the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) organization. The ideal candidate possesses a wealth of experience and leadership in the technology space, leadership finesse to build enduring strategic partnerships, along with the ability to handle high-pressure situations having executive and board-of-directors-level visibility.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across IT including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis
Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives
Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees and first-level managers
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
5+ years of experience with working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership
3+ years of experience in a managerial role
3+ years of experience developing and executing comprehensive IT roadmaps
3+ years of experience in leading managers within and organization
3+ years of experience with financial forecasting and budget creation
1+ years of experience in Product Leadership, Product Operations, Product Management or Agile Project Management role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Current Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure)
Experience with managing cloud infrastructure
Experience in security, governance, risk, and compliance
Experience with building beneficial supplier relationships
Experience with virtualization technologies
Experience managing and supporting data centers
Experience managing global teams
Experience working in complex environment and matrix organization

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $161,500 – $218,500
