The Boeing Company is hiring an Experienced Accountant (Operations Accounting) to aid in the collection of receivables and will be located in Dallas, Texas; Hazelwood, Missouri; Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Denver, Colorado or Seattle, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports collections and customer service across a portfolio of accounts and will be diligent working across departments and Boeing entities along with direct contact via phone, email and meetings with customers to reconcile and collect on open balances including researching of payments and invoices
Makes decisions in the best interest of Boeing based on risk analysis and past history to determine credit limits and releasing of orders
Works off hours at times to support Aircraft On Ground (AOG) instances to support sales and customers
Researches, prepares and reconciles data in support of the preparation of financial statements and reports
Supports analysis, documentation, and mitigation of compliance risk/errors
Researches, prepares, reviews and reconciles financial statements and reports
Analyzes and mitigates compliance risk/errors of a complex nature
Analyzes and interprets complex directives, policies and regulatory requirements to provide recommendations on new and existing accounting issues including the writing of white papers on accounting issues
Identifies and communicates cost collection requirements while developing, implementing and maintaining cost accounting structure/systems, tools, data and related realignment activities
Supports the development and deployment of complex changes to accounting tools and processes
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in customer service role
3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Bi-Lingual (Spanish and English)
3+ years of experience analyzing, interpreting, preparing, and reconciling financial information
3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
3+ years of experience working with Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable research
Strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and in person

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for CO, TX, WA: $79,900 - $108,100
Summary pay range for FL, MO: $74,800 - $101,200
