Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business is looking for an Associate Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Coppell, Tx.
The Shipping & Receiving (Level B) assists with initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing receivers/shippers. Processes receiving/shipping documentation. Packages and processes shipments. Assists with maintaining inventory of shipping/receiving supplies in Coppell, TX.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

Knowledge of operating procedures for packaging and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, walking stackers, carts, dollies, box tapers).
General knowledge of transportation, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures to understand and identify potential requirements and impacts (e.g., Electrostatic Discharge [ESD], hazardous material, OSHA, EHS).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
2-4 years of related work experience
Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 35 lbs.
Ability to manage cartons in excess of 35 lbs. utilizing available safety tools
Ability to fluently, read, write and speak English
Warehouse experience
Experience in operating material handling equipment
Basic Computer Knowledge
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Current valid driver’s license with clean driving record (at sites where driving forms part of the role)
Ability to stand and walk on cement floors for long periods of time throughout the workday
Must be detailed oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere
Able to work in a cross functional team environment.
Experience in international shipping and distribution
Knowledge of transportation, shipping laws and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
High School Diploma / Equivalent, preferred
