The Boeing Company is seeking a Experienced Private Markets Analyst to join the Trust Investments Group located in Chicago, IL. The Boeing’s Trust Investments Group provides strategic leadership in managing Boeing’s ~ $125 billion in retirement assets, supporting the financial security of employees and retirees
The team plays a critical role in guiding investment decisions, balancing risk and return, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of Boeing’s Defined Benefit Plan. As the Private Markets Analyst, you will contribute to the management of diverse private market investments, including Private Equity, Real Estate, Real Assets, Hedge Funds, and Private Credit. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced investment professionals, participate in key decision-making processes, and gain exposure to complex investment structures within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the Private Markets portfolios within the Defined Benefit Plan, including Private Equity, Real Estate, Real Assets, Hedge Funds, and Private Credit
Prepare analytical reports for internal and external stakeholders, covering portfolio performance, attribution, characteristics, and cash flows at both the portfolio and fund levels
Monitor global economic, political, and investment trends and contribute insights to staff discussions and asset class reviews.
Support administrative tasks for new and additional fund commitments, including preparation of subscription documents and letters of direction to banking partners
Maintain and oversee Private Markets procedures, processes, and documentation, including due diligence and record retention
Collaborate within a team environment and report to the Managing Director of Investments
Work onsite Tuesdays - Thursdays, with optional remote work on Mondays and Fridays
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related role
3+ years of experience producing independent qualitative and quantitative analysis
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Experience in a role that required strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Strong prioritization and organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing competing tasks
Knowledge of alternative investment strategies and fund structures (private equity, hedge funds, real assets, credit)
Actively pursuing the CFA designation

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000
