Role Purpose

This role supports Boeing Defence UK’s growing maintenance and modification business across multiple UK sites and aircraft platforms. Working within the MRO Core Capability Group (CCG), the Maintenance Operations Support Specialist will provide support to maintenance, planning, proposal, and process improvement activities across current and future capabilities.

The role will help maintain and improve the MRP Pt 145 / MOE process, support operational readiness for new and existing work packages, and contribute to effective delivery across platforms such as Chinook, Apache, P-8A, E-7, and future opportunities. The role will also support proposals, mobilisation, training, and process coherence across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance and update of the Maintenance Organisation Exposition and related Pt 145 processes. Supporting process improvement activities, migration of processes into new business models and creation of new MRO process standards
• Supporting the integration/development of the BDUK MRO standardised repeatable model.
• Work with SMEs, focal points, and stakeholders across multiple aircraft platforms to support changes to maintenance capability, site activity, and operating processes.
• Assist with change impact assessments for regulatory, Boeing policy, and process changes.
• Support proposal, estimation, and mobilisation activities for future maintenance and modification work.

• Collect, organize, and analyse operational and technical information to support effective decision-making and planning. Prepare comprehensive presentations and documentation for senior leadership, ensuring all essential information is presented clearly to enable informed decisions
• Help improve consistency, efficiency, and good practice across maintenance and support areas, including support for the setup of new maintenance/workshop locations.
• Support training planning and delivery where required, including coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Assist with stakeholder communication and help maintain clear update loops across teams.
• Support safety, quality, and compliance activities, including investigations and follow-up actions where needed.
• Work closely with BDUK MRO On site teams including Form 4 holders, engineering, planning, quality, supply chain, and programme teams to support delivery.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Candidates should demonstrate a mix of the following:

• Experience in aircraft maintenance, modification, or MRO support environments.
• Understanding of maintenance planning, technical support, or operational support activities.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently with guidance and prioritise work effectively.
• Experience using data to support decisions and improve processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements, in an aerospace or defence environment.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and sites in a changing environment.
• Familiarity with MRO Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as GOLDesp / GOLDMRO / SAP / or planning tools such as Oracle Primavera P6 or similar would be beneficial.
• A relevant qualification in aerospace, engineering, or a related field is desirable, but equivalent experience will also be considered.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance.
• Travel to other Boeing Defence UK sites will be required.
